Penny is a practicing therapist and former Designated Crisis Responder who specializes in eating disorder treatment. She currently works at The Emily Program as the lead therapist for South Sound DBT IOP and also serves as the clinical manager for the South Sound IOP programs. Outside of professional spaces, Penny is a transgender rights activist and founder of a rural services LGBTQ youth drop-in center in Grays Harbor County called Harbor Include. She enjoys writing, video and tabletop game development, language learning, and vintage aesthetics and media.
